This event is based around enjoying the park on 2 wheels and gravity, without the pesky act of pedalling too  much! This event is perfect for families and older groups who want to have fun in the sun without too much strenuous exercise.

We leave HQ in a mini bus to take you to the top of the Sierra Espuña, the ride takes about an hour and the views are second to none! Once at the peak - over 1500m above sea level - you'll select your steed & helmet, go through the receive safety instruction & tuition before starting your ride down the mountain. The first couple of kilometres are on a quiet tarmacked road, giving you the opportunity to get to grips with your bike on an even surface.

After this, when we reach the first junction, we'll check to see everybody is OK and happy, make any technical changes that we need to make; and start our off-road section on a 13 kilometre long forestry track that cuts through the heart of the park, you'll be surrounded by the shady green pines of Sierra Espuña, but when the view opens up, boy is it worth it!

When we exit this section, you're in luck! We're right by the tourist information centre, which is great if you'd like to learn more about the park, it's very tactile & interactive and so is great for all ages. We will have a quick 15/20 minute stop here to have a glance around the information centre (and use the restroom facilities!) and also enjoy a lovely picnic which includes.... A roll with a choice of Cheese, Tuna, Cheese and ham or spanish meats, fruit, cake and sokft drinks. (please inform us of choice at the time of booking... - Please note, the information centre is closed on Mondays, if your booked event is on a Monday, this will get skipped over. From here you'll get back on the road, following the guide and continuing descending the mountain, but you'll be on the road now. Down the twisty bends for another 10 kilometres approx. before you reach the bottom of the mountains and the canal road that drives through the heart of the region.

 - An Unforgettable Experience!

From here, you'll have to gentle pedal for a few kilometres (sorry!), but we're on the flat, so it's nice and comfortable! At the final point of this section, you can have two choices**

1) You can jump in the van and rest your bones, it'll take 10 minutes to get back to HQ.

2) You can ride the rest of the way to the hotel, it is straightforward and impossible to get lost, it'll take around 20-30 minutes and is a gentle incline most of the way, but at least you can have that cake for dessert and not feel guilty later!
*Please note* On occasions, the choice won't be possible and everybody will have to return by van. At this point it is around 1PM/1.30PM and can get very hot at times, for safety reasons; if we deem it too hot to be safe
, we won't allow anybody to cycle back. Equally if we're running a bit late to get back for your meal - for whatever reason - we might insist everybody rides in the van too.
