Climbing and tuition.

We are offering Climbing Tuition on our climbing wall here at Hotel la Mariposa.
This wall is beginner to intermediate. Perfect for children & young adults!
Our knowledgable tutor/guide will show you every basic you need to know for climbing a wall, and helping you in the process.
For up to an hour and a half of tuition + climbing = €15
Minimum group is 4.
* Harness & Helmet are provided.
You must wear good quality trainers, ones that allow your foot to move and have good grip. Converse are a good brand if you have any lying around at home. But most trainers are good for this.

We offer climbing with tuition sessions.
All sessions are operated with an experienced and knowledgeable tutor in and around the Sierra espuna.
Probably the best kept secret in Southern Spain, Sierra Espuña is a beautiful secluded valley with thousands of sport and trad climbs at all levels, crag and multi-pitch, and everything from caves and overhangs to slabs. Sport climbs are intelligently bolted and routes are well thought out. Most of the climbing is limestone, though there is an aggregate crag to be found behind the Archeological museum in Alhama. The nearest cities are Murcia, then Alhama de Murcia & Mula and in the valley is the small village of El Berro. Having a car is highly adviseable as most of the climbs already involve a 45 minute to 1 hour approach after driving to a hiking trail head. It is well worth the hike. The crags are quiet and climbing is possible well into November as the climbing routes used can be in the sun through Winter and in the shade through the Summer months.
Tuition climbs start at 45€ per person.
