Walking days and walking holidays for groups.
Each walk lasts approx 3 hours and we cover approx 10km.The walk includes an after walk 4 course meal (including wine and beer) at ´La Mariposa´ The walk is free (if you book the meal) and the meal is 12 euros....how do we do it?? (please tip the guide generously!!!)
IF YOU HAVE AN SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS I.E. VEGETARIAN, VEGAN OR GLUTEN FREE please INFORM US AT THE TIME OF BOOKING OTHERWISE YOUR LUNCH MAY BE LIMITED.
All walkers MUST wear suitable footwear for a walk in the mountains, preferably with ankle support but essential to have good grip on the soles.
Also make sure that you have a small drink and an energy/chocolate bar.
WE OFFER DOUBLE EN-SUITE ROOMS FOR WALKING DAYS AR ONLY 34 euros PER COUPLE, (either the night before or on the day)

Our twice monthly walks, PLEASE NOTE, WE ARE CHANGING TO A MONDAY FROM SEPT 2011 ONWARDS,
All walks are on the 2nd and 4th MONDAY of every month Unless otherwise stated (see below), we walk between late September and late May, each walk is graded an easy medium walk, however please be sure that you understand that we are walking in the mountains and there will be some hills to walk up as well as down (you would be surprised the amount of walkers that turn up for a walk and complain about the fact that these mountains are hilly !!! ;-).
We will meet at La Mariposa at 10am at the latest, Booking is essential so please phone 968631008 or email as early as possible as we only have limited spaces and most walks are at capacity.
SPECIAL EVENT Friday March 16th, an easy medium graded 6 to 8 hour walk with a BBQ/paella at the halfway point all organised on arrival, booking is essential (price is 15€ pp) be quick as spaces will be limited.

From Alhama de Murcia follow the signs for Mula/Pliego, after aprox 7 km there is a turning on the left for El berro, ignore this turn and stay on the Mula road until you reach the hotel, we now meet at Hotel la Mariposa on every walk day at 10am.
Twice monthly Walk dates as follows
27th February.
16th March is a 6 to 8 hour special, with lunch (BBQ+Paella organised in the park)
12th and 26th March.
9th and 23rd April.
14th and 28th May.

We offer a fantastic deal for walking groups, itinerary as below, and prices to suit all pockets.
Day 1...
Arrive in the morning, light lunch, 2 to 3 hour guided walk on the Sierra Espuna, 4 course evening meal (all inc wine and beer during your meal)
Day 2...
Buffet breakfast and a 5 to 6 hour guided walk taking a packed lunch, back in time for a relaxing drink before your evening meal. (optional quiz night can be arranged)
Day 3...
Buffet breakfast and a 5 to 6 hour guided walk (packed lunch) back mid afternoon for afternoon drinks, evening meal (with live entertainment arranged at an extra cost of 8€ per person).
Day 4...
Breakfast and a free morning, vacating your room by 12 noon..
